Mr. Leroy Williamson

Leroy Williamson was born on August 17, 1952 in Charleston, South Carolina to Ms. Lessie Spann Williamson and the late Mr. Neil Williamson, Sr.  On Sunday, May 13, 2018, he peacefully transitioned from this earthly journey to his heavenly home.

Leroy was a graduate of Cross High School. He was joined in marriage to the love of his life, Mrs. Elouise “Bell” Williamson on June 24, 1972 in Boston, Massachusetts.

Leroy was baptized on April 14, 1997 at Refuge Temple Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ. He received and was filled with the Holy Ghost on January 17, 2011. Leroy later became a member of the Word of Harvest Ministry in Columbia, South Carolina.

Leroy was respected as a good-hearted man who enjoyed helping everyone. He had many talents and enjoyed sharing them with anyone that needed him. Leroy was outspoken and held strong to his beliefs, but always had the interest of others at heart.

Those left to cherish his fond memories are his loving wife, Elouise “Bell” Williamson; one son, Sterling (LaToya) Williamson; one daughter, La’Trisha (Gregory) Tucker; his mother, Lessie Spann Williamson; one sister, Barbara Williamson Howell; three brothers, Neil Williamson Jr., Julius (Ruth) Williamson, and Henry (Jacqueline) Sabree; five grandchildren; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
