Mr. Joseph Franklin Mills, Sr.

Joseph Franklin Mills was born on March 19, 1949 in Irmo, South Carolina to the late Myrtle and JD Sutton. He departed this earthly journey on April 2, 2019 at 3:00 P.M.

Joseph was educated in the public schools of Lexington County. Joseph was skilled and employed in the construction business. Joseph dedicated his life to family and friends. He believed everyone should enjoy life to the fullest.

In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by his brothers, Eddie Mills, Sr., and Henry Mills; sisters, Barbara Mills, Claritha Williams, Minnie Lee Jones and Jessie Lee Mays.

Joseph leaves to cherish his memory his children, Joseph (Chrisonia) Franklin Mills, Jr., and Christopher (Rose Marie) Mark Mills; one sister, Mary Ann Wilson; one brother, Gunze (Dorothy) Mills; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, loving other relatives and friends.
