Mr. Joseph "Butch" Jamison

Joseph “Butch” Jamison, son of the late Emma Lee Jamison Spry, was born on June 19, 1946 in Barnwell, South Carolina. He departed this earthly journey on July 22, 2019.

Joseph was educated in the public schools of Barnwell County.

At an early age, Joseph was baptized at Second Baptist Church in Barnwell County.

Joseph dedicated his life to his family, loved ones, and community. He especially loved the fire department, police department and first responders.

In addition to his mother, Joseph was preceded in death by his step father, William Spry; his grandfather, Joseph Jamison; two aunts, Josephine Leonard and Janie Jamison; and one uncle, Sam Jamison.

Joseph leaves a legacy of love and devotion to his brother, Reverend Kenneth (Jacqueline) Spry; two sisters, Sharon Spry and Ezelda (Prince) Roberts; his devoted aunts, Classie M. Miller and Laverne Jamison; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and very special close friends.
