Mr. Jerry Louis Oree, Jr.

Jerry Louis Oree, Jr. was born on December 2, 1970 to the late Jerry and Martha Oree, Sr. at Torrejon Air Base during his father’s tour of duty in Madrid, Spain.

Jerry began living in Columbia, South Carolina at the age of six. He attended schools in Richland County School Districts One and Two and graduated from Richland Northeast High School in 1989.

Jerry was employed by several businesses, but his favorite job was being a DJ, “Jay Nice”, which was his favorite past-time.

Jerry was preceded in death by his daughter, Jessica Fuller; grandparents, Jerry and Louise Langley Oree and Glarnell and Blanche Garrett Brabham; and cousins, Erick Hutto, Sr., Curtis Outen, and Hakeem Huff.

He is survived by his mother, Martha Oree; five children, Dexter (Keyosha) Oree, Che-von, Niketa, and Nasky Rogers; and Briana and Kailyn Fuller; one brother, Jermaine Oree; two grandchildren, Peyton Rogers and Gavin Oree; six aunts, Christine Scott-Ferguson, Shirley (John) Bookhart, Margaret Huff, Gloria Brabham, Lenora Wise, and Geraldine Bynum; and a host of other cousins, relatives and friends who will all miss him dearly.
