Mr. James "Mickey" Pringle

James Lee “Mickey” Pringle was born on February 15, 1953 in Eastover, South Carolina to the late Henry and Martha Pringle. He departed this earthly journey on Sunday, June 2, 2019.

James was educated in the public schools of Richland County and was a graduate of Lower Richland High School. Throughout his career, James worked for the City of Columbia and Tri-County Electric. He retired as an electrician and was also a proud Army Veteran.

James was a member of Truth Church and Ministries and was actively involved with the Men’s Ministry, Kitchen Ministry and Van Ministry.

James, affectionately called “Mickey”, was known for his big beautiful smile and big heart; he never met a stranger. He loved antique and fast cars and would often attend car shows with his grandson, Chance. At the time of his passing, he and Chance were in the process of building a race car, which they were both very excited about. “Mickey” was also a real “country” man who enjoyed the outdoors and shared a lot of his country upbringings with Chance, such as fishing and hunting.

James was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Martha Pringle; and one brother, Eddie Pringle.

James leaves to cherish his precious memories his wife, Sandra Pringle; his children, Carlton Murphy, Nykeisha, Ashley, Terrell, Tyshawn, and TerQuieshin Pringle Latasha (Alex) Dixon, and Destiny and Kaetee Pringle; children of the home, Patriciette, Ashley, Myeisha, Maylah, Aniyah, Jaylah and Kalisha; three brothers, William, Larry and Stephon Pringle; one sister, Henrietta Pringle; one aunt, Carrie LaBrew; one uncle, Leroy Labrew; nine sisters-in-law; seven brothers-in-law; many grandchildren; special friends, Rayford “Homie” Alford, Reverend Samuel “Captain” Rice and Chris Harris; and a host of loving relatives and friends.
