Jimmy was an inspiration to me. I first met him in 1999. He and I created a website known as Ultimate Oldies Radio later that year. His kindness and wisdom were nothing short of remarkable. It was a blessing to see him in May of 2016 at his home in South Carolina. Jimmy by his own admission, came back to the Lord after going through tremendous personal trials. What a good friend he was. I loved him and I do indeed look forward to seeing him again. He is in the joy of his Savior. What a great finish to a long life.

Grandpa. We were blessed to have you in our lives. You paved the way and layed the ground work for us to dream and achieve based off the many accomplishments you achieved while you were with us. The love you showed all us was unconditional and you were always there to listen when we needed you. You leave a huge gap to be filled on your departure but left us with the proper gudiance and tools to stand guard and step in. I love you, miss you, and look forward to seeing you later on the other side.

To my Father who is most precious and dear to me. I am so grateful that God allowed you to be my earthly father. Thank you for so many dear and precious memories. I am so grateful that God allowed me to come and visit you and even though the nurses said that you could hear me but was not able to respond, God said other wise and performed a miracle. You have finished writing the chapters in your book here on earth and have begun a brand new chapter in your new eternal home. I am happy and excited for you. I will miss you dearly and will not say good bye but until we meet again. They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary and they shall walk and not faint.

My deepest sympathy to the friends and family of Mr. James. We will never get used to losing our love ones in death. The reason is because we were created with everlasting life in view.
