Mr. Horace Foulks

Horace Foulks, 47, passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at the Medical University of South Carolina.  Horace was born on November 8, 1970 in Columbia, South Carolina to the late Thomas Foulks and the late Margaret Robinson Foulks.

Horace graduated from Eau Claire High School in 1989. He served eight years in the United States Marine Corps (Oorah). Horace was a member of the First Nazareth Baptist Church. He has always had a passion for baseball. He coached baseball for over 15 years at Hyatt Park and Meadowlake Park. 

Horace was one of the friendliest persons you would ever meet. He adored his three sons and granddaughter. He had a passion for spending time with each of them. Horace would make you laugh no matter how hard you tried not to. His sweet, calm spirit will be missed dearly by his family, especially his loving wife.

Horace leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Shantina Foulks; three sons, Horace J. Foulks, Shamar J. T. Foulks, and Tre’von Z. Foulks; one granddaughter, Ekaisha Z. Mims; four sisters, Zanthia F. (Godfrey) Middleton, April F. (James) Johnson, Wilma F. (Harold) Brown, and Monica Foulks-Davoll; two brothers, Thomas “Tom Cat” (Jamesetta) Foulks, and Marcus Gustavus Foulks; along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends whom will all miss him dearly.
