Mr. Gunze Lee Mills

Gunze Lee Mills was born on April 12, 1953 in Swansea, South Carolina to the late Myrtle Taylor and Jessie D. Mills. He departed this earthly journey on Monday, June 3, 2019.

Gunze was educated in the public schools of Lexington County. Gunze was a skilled dry wall installer and the owner of Mills Drywall. Gunze dedicated his life to God, family and friends. He believed everyone should enjoy life. He was a dedicated member of Jesus Movement Ministries. He was ordained as an Elder in 2016.

In addition to his parents, Gunze was preceded in death by his brothers, Joseph Mills, Eddie Mills, Sr., and Henry Mills; sisters, Barbara Mills, Claritha Williams, Minnie Lee Jones and Jessie Lee Mills; one grandson, Christopher Smith; and one granddaughter, NaKeisha Smith.

Gunze leaves to cherish his memory his wife Dorothy Ann Mills; children, Sandra Mills, Stephanie (Kevin) Smith, Deborah Mills and La’Gwunda Wesley Mills; one sister, Mary Ann Wilson; aunt, Annie Bell Thomas; sisters-in-law, Mary (James) Wesley, Joann (Theodore) Scott and Lottie Lewis; brothers-in-law; Major Lewis and Hampton Lewis; a host of grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.
