David Goodwin was born on February 1, 1932 in Eastover, South Carolina to the late Jessie Goodwin and Annie Ward Goodwin. He departed this earthly journey on March 8, 2018.

David leaves to cherish his memory his four sisters, Sarah Ann Lovett, Jessie Mae(Robert) Clark, Annie Mae Harley, and Maryann (Frank) Tucker; and two brothers, Oliver (Rose) Goodwin and James Goodwin.
