Chris and I had known each other since our 9th grade year of high school. He and I had many classes together at Richland Northeast High school, and kept up with each other during our times at Midlands Technical College and the University of South Carolina. We talked on a regular basis and had been quite good friends.

He was always a very funny and kind individual, and I shall miss him very much. My thoughts are with his family during this very difficult time.

Chris was such an amazing and sweet person. Chris and I grew up together. Over the years, Chris continued to grow and progress into such a respectable and admirable man. His smile was contagious and he always had something for us to laugh about. Chris spread joy and happiness amongst his abundance of friends. If you didn't know Chris, you'd think he was a quiet guy but once you got to know him you realized he was the type of guy that everyone wanted to be friends with. His authenticity was one of my favorite things about him. He was a true gentleman and the world could use many more men like Chris Jackson.

Chris, you will truly be missed for the amazing person you are. Your legacy will live on forever. See you on the other side my friend.
