Mr. Brice Levi Samuels

Brice Levi Samuels was born on March 23, 1942 in Columbia, South Carolina to the late Joe and Eunice Peters Samuel.  He departed this life on October 28, 2017.

Brice was educated in the public schools of Richland County.

Brice worked for Richtex Brick for a period of time and later began employment at Richland County School District Two where he retired after 20 years. Brice was a member of Stover Chapel A.M.E. Church until his health declined.  Brice enjoyed golfing, fishing, watching sports and spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Anthony Ashford; sister, Lois Walker; brothers, Joe, Jr., Thomas and Earl Samuel.

Brice leaves to cherish his memory three daughters, Wanda Penny-Hinton of Columbia, SC, Juanita Phillips of New York and Alida Samuels of Tampa, FL; sons, Levi Samuels, Jr. and Phillip Samuels both of New York; brothers, Johnny Samuel, Sr., James (Rosena) Samuel, Willie Ross (Denise) Samuels, Charles (Fannie) Samuel, and Roosevelt ( Eliza) Samuel; sisters, Dorothy (Eddie) Etheridge, Juanita Samuel, Carol Samuel and Christy Cain, all of Columbia, SC; twenty grandchildren; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.
