Deacon David Taylor, son of the late George Richardson and Elizabeth Taylor, was born on February 14, 1941 in Hopkins, South Carolina. He departed this life on Friday, March 8, 2019.
David was educated in the public schools of Richland County. David was an ordained Deacon at Driven Ministries in Camden, South Carolina where he served faithfully until his death. David was self-employed and the owner of David Construction Company and later retired after many years of dedicated service. David dedicated his life to his wife, children, loved ones, and his community.
He was actively involved with various programs in his church organizations. To know “Dave,” as he was affectionately called, was to love him.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his sister, Margaret Goodwin.
David leaves to cherish his precious memory his loving wife, Luvenia “Honey” Taylor; two daughters, Crystal Jenkins and Denise Taylor; a loving grandson, Talik Taylor; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
